WHO WE ARE:  ANC 7D's Committee on Housing, Economic Justice, Zoning, and Alcoholic Beverage Cannabis Administration (ABCA) supports ANC 7D Commissioners, residents, and businesses on a wide range of issues related to housing and economic development in our community; zoning rules and regulations; and the alcohol and medical cannabis licensing process.  We are a currently a team of seven community volunteers, who have been nominated and endorsed by our respective ANC Commissioners.

WHAT WE DO:  By holding recurring, virtual meetings that are open to the public, the Committee provides a forum for additional review, oversight, and community comment on major housing and development projects taking place in our ANC.  The Committee regularly hosts applicants seeking zoning relief for projects occurring in our neighborhood and then provides recommendations to the full ANC.  The Committee also hosts DC officials, representatives from local non-profits, and other subject matter experts working in the housing and economic development space in our community.
